About
I’m passionate about patient care and driven by impact.
New York City is where I was raised, and I wouldn't change it for anything in the world. It has given me extensive experience working with diverse communities including different socioeconomic backgrounds, ages, genders, and sexual orientations, and has strengthened my understanding of cultural differences. It has always been my mission to give back to those who have given so much to me. I believe providing quality care and compassion is a fundamental basic right for everyone. I will strive to find new ways to serve my patients and continue to move towards my goal of making meaningful contributions with my research. I am also humbled by brilliant and dedicated professionals who share my vision of optimal “mental health and wellness for all”.
“She is understanding and easy to talk to, and you will always feel that she is looking out for your best interests.”
Director | Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner | PhD(c)
My career has allowed me to direct multiple healthcare initiatives while managing diverse & cross-cultural staff to meet patient healthcare needs. In addition, I’ve leveraged my expertise in administration, overseeing and evaluating all nursing personnel, setting objectives & long-term goals, managing budgets, and monitoring expenditures.
As a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at NYPCC, I provide Psychiatric Services across the lifespan. It’s important for me to be results-driven and data focused when it comes to providing quality evidence based care. I strive to achieve optimal patient outcomes no matter the leadership capacity.
After receiving my MSN from the Barbara H.Hagan School of Nursing, Molloy College, I decided to deepen my commitment to academia and innovation in mental health as a PhD(c) at Molloy College. My dissertation research is focused on examining the policies which maintain methadone treatment for addiction and the inherent barriers to transition from opioid substitutes.
